	Before they were married, Jack lived in Lloyd Baker Street, Kings Cross, and Gerda lived in Oak Hill Park, Hampstead. The Blitz (1940) saw them living at the base flat of Northwood Hall in Highgate. The bombs shouldn't reach the lower floors - but one did explode outside their windows instead.
